The Carbon County Family Support and Children’s Justice Center has been in operation since 1996. Located at 80 South Fairgrounds Road in Price, Utah, we were established when a group of dedicated individuals was inspired to respond to the needs of our community. As with many programs and businesses, we started very small, with only two employees to staff and operate our Crisis Nursery. Today, more than 20 years later, we are a fully operating Family Support Center, providing Crisis/Respite services, shelter care, a home visiting program, and parenting classes. Our greatest asset is our community’s support, and our greatest achievements are caring for children and helping to strengthen Carbon County’s families.
Services Offered
Crisis Nursery
The Crisis Nursery is designed to provide a safe, homelike setting where parents can bring their children when the family is in a stressful situation. Children who are 0-11 years can stay at the Crisis Nursery. Children can be brought in only by the parents or legal guardian & may stay for periods of up to 72 hours.
