In Loving Memory of Stan Rosenzweig
Founding Board Member & Chair Emeritus, Family Support Centers of Utah
Stan Rosenzweig served on the Family Support Centers of Utah Board of Directors with extraordinary heart, vision, and dedication. As Chair Emeritus and Member-At-Large, Stan helped shape FSCU into the strong, statewide network it is today.
He was instrumental in establishing FSCU’s first formal board of directors, drawing from his vast network to help build a highly effective team of community leaders with diverse skills and experience. That board first met in late 2020, with Lynn Samsel as Chair and Stan as Vice Chair, marking a pivotal moment in FSCU’s history.
Over his years of service, Stan brought strategic insight, quiet strength, and deep compassion to everything he did. He believed fiercely in the power of prevention, connection, and community—and he supported every Family Support Center with heart and humility. Whether mentoring new board members, strengthening partnerships, or offering words of encouragement, Stan made everyone around him better.
He was skiing just weeks before his passing—a perfect reflection of how he lived: fully, joyfully, and without regret.
Stan’s legacy lives on in the work we do and in the lives we reach. At the request of his family, donations in Stan’s memory may be made to Family Support Centers of Utah.
